Tattoo Pricing in Beaumont, TX
Every piece is custom, so every price is too. Here’s exactly how I work it out — and why you’ll get a real number before you commit to anything.
How pricing actually works here
I don’t have a price list on the wall, because I don’t have designs on the wall. Everything is drawn for the person wearing it, which means the honest answer to “how much?” is always “let’s look at it together.” What you will get is a firm quote at your free consultation, before anything is scheduled and before you’ve spent a cent.
No surprises on the day. No “it ran long, so it’s more.” The number we agree on is the number you pay.
What moves the price
- Size. The single biggest factor. More skin means more time in the chair.
- Detail. A bold, simple design and a densely detailed one can be the same size and take very different amounts of time.
- Placement. Some spots are slower to work and need the design adapted to sit right on the body.
- Colour vs. black-and-grey. Full colour builds up over additional passes.
- One session or several. Larger pieces like Japanese sleeves are planned across sittings, each one priced as we go.
- Cover-ups. Covering existing work takes more time than working on clean skin, and usually needs a larger piece.
Deposits
A $100 deposit holds your appointment and covers the drawing time that happens before you arrive — your design is finished and waiting when you sit down. It comes off the final price of the tattoo, so it’s part of what you pay, not an extra on top.
Rescheduling: life happens, and moving an appointment is fine — just give me at least 48 hours’ notice and your deposit moves with you to the new date. Inside 48 hours, the deposit is forfeited. That isn’t a penalty for its own sake: the slot was held for you, turned away from someone else, and your design was already drawn.
If your budget is tight, say so
Genuinely — tell me the number at the consultation. There is almost always a way to make something good happen within a real budget: adjust the scale, simplify the detail, or plan the piece across sessions so you pay as you go. That conversation is much easier before the design exists than after.
What I won’t do is talk you into something you can’t afford, or shrink a design past the point where it will still look good in ten years. If the idea and the budget genuinely don’t meet yet, I’ll tell you that too.

Pricing questions
How much do tattoos cost in Beaumont, TX?
Tattoo prices in Beaumont vary a lot by artist and by piece, and any shop quoting you a firm number over text without seeing the design is guessing. My work is all custom, so the price depends on size, placement, detail and whether it's colour or black-and-grey. You get an exact quote at your free consultation, before anything is booked and before you commit to anything.
Why won't you quote me from a photo?
Because the quote would be wrong. Size on a screen isn't size on a body, placement changes how long a piece takes, and the detail you want may need more or less room than the reference suggests. I'd rather spend fifteen free minutes getting it right than give you a number that changes on the day.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes, always, and there's no obligation. It exists so the idea, the design and the price are all settled before you commit.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes — a $100 deposit holds your appointment and covers the drawing time before you arrive. It comes off the final price of the tattoo, so it isn't an extra cost. If you need to move your appointment, give me at least 48 hours' notice and the deposit moves with you. Less than 48 hours and the deposit is forfeited — that time was held for you and the design was already drawn.
What if my budget is smaller than the quote?
Tell me the number. Often we can adjust scale, simplify detail, or split a larger piece across sessions so it fits what you can spend. What I won't do is rush a design or cut corners on something you'll wear for life.
Do you charge by the hour or by the piece?
I'll explain exactly how your piece is priced at the consultation, along with what would move it up or down. No hidden add-ons, and the number you agree to is the number you pay.
